With just 3 days left before 2019, it’s time to reflect on last year. I have to say, I am truly blessed. This year marked the 35th anniversary with my “Beshert”, Amy. She is my kindred spirit and my soulmate and I am lucky to share my life with her. My children are busy with their careers and healthy and happy with their significant others. My first book launched on September 17th and though I doubt Dr. Seuss is worrying much, I am so honored to be a published author. I never intended on setting the world on fire financially (thought it would be nice), friends and family members have been so supportive of that accomplishment. ( I adore the attached picture from a very close family friend, Diane and her five grandchildren!) I traveled with great friends, tutored strangers from around the world, worked as an Artist in Resident and just relaxed.
So, I know what you are thinking, what’s next? I plan on doing much of the same. Book 2 is almost ready for publication and book three is right behind. Both of them are quirky, funny and different. I will Artist in Resident again, tutor some more, travel to parts unknown, There’s a chance that I may teach an adult ed class at night. There’s also a remote possibility that I may teach theater at a camp in Bejing, China, this summer.
I can only wish that 2019 brings you a year of health and happiness. As my autograph in the front cover states. “May all of your dreams become realities.” Mr. B
