Did you know that there are over 50 songs with “Time” in the title? Now I know you are being challenged to use part of your time to try and guess as many as you can! I would too. There are some obvious ones that come to mind: Bill Joel’s “The Longest Time”. Cyndi Lauper’s “Time after Time” Jim Croce’s “Time in a Bottle”. They are all good ones but none of the rank as the number one song about time. Don’t worry, I will reveal that title and the entire website at the end of this article.
So what’s the big deal about time anyhow? After all, there’s a very simple fact: 24 hours in a day!
People ask me, “so what do you do all day?” and quite frankly I don’t know the answer until that day.
I didn’t plan on writing this article, but it seemed like a good thing to do at the time. (see how I did that?) Let’s just put this in proper perspective. I am retired teacher. My wife, Amy and I are empty nesters. My dog, Fluffy, is incredibly demanding! Now that my book has been out for a week, I spend
some time working on promotions like book fairs and festivals. I will be at the Miami Book Fair on Saturday, November 17th from 10:00AM – 7:00PM. At the Miami Dade Wolfson campus. I hope you can join me there. I have spent some time on Amazon to check my sales rank for the first eight days since the launch. My brain is obviously on the creative side and not on the analytical. Amazon’s algorithm makes absolutely no sense to me since it suggests that I sell one to two books every hour. Of course, there are peak times for those sales, but the good news is that my Illustrator, Gabriela Palomo, lives in El Salvador. Maybe books are being sold there when I am fast asleep. Let’s just say that trying to figure that one out is just not worth my time.
Before I tell you the name of the #1 song about time, I just want to ask two favors. If you haven’t purchased the book, please do so. If you have purchased the book in paperback or e-book then please submit a review on Amazon. I know I am asking you to sacrifice a little of your time, but each review helps boost the overall ranking. Just a few minutes of your time will help “Mr. B” rise on the Amazonbook charts! Oh, I nearly forgot he #1 song is “Time” by Pink Floyd. If you don’t believe me, check it out! https://www.ranker.com/list/the-best-songs-with-time-in-the-title/ranker-music In the meantime, “It’s Time to Say Goodbye”!
